Kino — watch together, in sync
Send a link, your friends click it, and everyone watches the same thing at the same time — synced playback, a shared queue, live chat and reactions.
How it works
- Start a room — you get a link (and a say-it-aloud word pair like indigo-otter).
- Share it. Friends join in one click; no accounts anywhere.
- Paste any video link into the room. Anyone can add; everyone stays in sync.
Works with
YouTube · Twitch (live, VODs, clips) · Vimeo · Dailymotion · Bilibili · SoundCloud · Mixcloud · Internet Archive · PeerTube · direct video links (mp4, webm, HLS) · torrents via WebTorrent · screen sharing.
Nothing stored
Rooms are ephemeral: sixty seconds after the last person leaves, the room is gone. No sign-up, no watch history, no tracking, no database. Self-host it with one Docker image if you prefer your own hardware.
Start a roomThis is the no-JavaScript view. The app itself needs JavaScript — with it, this page becomes the room.
